Hello, I am Rosa Risqué, a San Diego based model. I began my modeling career in 2016 when I joined an arts production company that was primarily inspired by classic pinup art. My time at this production company was useful when I branched off into other styles as the posing can be quite eye-catching in modern photography.

 

With this realization, I grabbed my best friend and photographer Daisy Dame's hand and I began my journey of mixing different art, photography and film styles with classic pinup elements to create my own fusion artwork. I began practicing different photo editing techniques, researching into film color progression and color theory, and starting playing around with what was available to me that could change the photo. I started developing a story to the "character" I was playing in my photographs, hinting at the story line with carefully chosen lyrics from songs I enjoy listening to.

I just hope that someone can enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed making them and the memories that went along with it all.  I will continue making art until I cannot anymore - so please join me on my journey.
